Today I realized why the rewrite of Harvest Home has taken almost 3 1/2 years... Because it was meant to be a musical, not a screenplay.
All the signs were there... How can I have been so obtuse?

What is Harvest Home, if you don't mind my asking?
Harvest Home is an original screenplay that I wrote 3 1/2 years ago that has been sitting in that proverbial sock drawer awaiting a rewrite.
For some reason, this morning, it just clicked: "Musical. It's a musical."
Wow, that's wonderful! Good luck with the rewrite. Are we all invited to opening night?
