WGAe has announced the 101 Greatest Screenplays! How many have you seen? I'm going to do a count later (after I've run some errands)... I know that it will be embarassingly low.
Here are the Top 10:
1. Casablanca
2. The Godfather
3. Chinatown
4. Citizen Kane
5. All About Eve
6. Annie Hall
7. Sunset Blvd.
8. Network
9. Some Like It Hot
10. The Godfather II
I've seen 4 of the top 10... Pathetic!

I've seen them all but only four a second time... I even have all the scripts for those ten on a cdrom (I guess I should read them)
I've seen parts of all of them on TV, but...
Casablanca, All About Eve, Some Like It Hot, and Citizen Kane, I've only seen the beginnings and the ends.
I've seen about 90% of The Godfather II
Network I haven't seen since I was a child and it was the censored network version at that. So I suppose that I managed to understand even less than I should've at eleven years of age.
I do remember there were like six of us (ages nine through twelve) at school chanting at school the next day, "we're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore!"
40%? That's horrible. I've seen 50%.
I don't feel so bad now! I think I came up with 46/101. Sort of sad that I've seen some movies over and over, yet haven't seen some of the all time greats! Especially when you consider the roster of the movies that I do watch over and over again!
We're all posting about this list! Funny!
What the F! Just lost my comment. Here it is again, more or less.
I've seen them all at least 5 times. So what's that, about 523%?That was when I was in film school. No, not film as in movie but film as in things covered in grease. I went to a community college and took janitorial engineering. Course I must be about twice your age and was in my prime when these films were released.
Alicia! Finally found you again! Sorry, I couldn't remember your name when I posted the list to my blog. Hope you're not offended... by my blog with all the chick pics that is. Just my way of ramping the traffic.
